Acquittal in murder trial for Rebecca Wade
Rebecca Wade defended a youth who cannot be named for legal reasons in a four week trial at Warwick Crown Court, led by John Ryder QC, in one of the Circuit’s first socially distanced multi-handed trial.
A house party took place on 29th February 2020, during which a 16 year old boy was fatally stabbed.
The youth represented by Ms Wade was acquitted by the jury of all counts. The co-defendant Sukhbir Phull was convicted of murder.
