It is with great sadness that Chambers report that after a courageous battle with leukaemia, Peter Cooper has passed away. Peter was a true gentleman, a superb advocate, an inspiration and great friend to many. He was an integral member of Chambers, and his loss will be felt both in Chambers and beyond. He always made time for others, and nothing was ever too much trouble. Even throughout his illness, and after his diagnosis he never wavered from the inspirational man that we all knew and loved. There are inadequate words to describe all of his many attributes. Quite simply he was a one off. We will all miss him dearly.
Our thoughts go out in particular to his loving wife Vivien, his two daughters and his grandson. His family were his world. His only concern when learning of his diagnosis was how they would cope with the loss.
We are very sorry to bring you this devastating news. Rest in peace Peter. You will always be in our thoughts.
