Nicholas Allen QC and Ben Douglas-Jones QC appointed as Deputy High Court Judges
Chambers is delighted to announce that Nicholas Allen QC and Ben Douglas-Jones QC have been appointed as Deputy High Court Judges, pursuant to section 9(4) of the Senior Courts Act 1981.
Nicholas is one of the country’s leading financial remedy practitioners and joined chambers as a Door Tenant in 2018. He was appointed as a Recorder in 2016. He sits in London and on the South Eastern Circuit hearing matrimonial finance and children cases. He was appointed as an Arbitrator in 2018, the same year he took silk.
Ben is a Recorder of the Crown Court and also took silk in 2018. He is ranked in Tier 1 by Legal 500 for Criminal Fraud, Consumer Law and General Crime, he is consistently highly recommended in the legal directories for Criminal Fraud, Business Crime, Consumer Law, Financial Crime and Crime.
