Further Chambers & Partners Success for St Ives

Following on from continued success in the Legal 500 2024 edition, we are delighted that a number of our barristers have been ranked in the latest edition of the Chambers & Partners guide to the UK Bar.

Chambers enjoys a Band 1 ranking in Family: Children, Family: Matrimonial Finance and Social Housing. Chambers is also ranked in Crime.

In total, 19 barristers are ranked, including 8 at Band 1 as leaders in their respective fields.

Particular praise was reserved for our dedicated clerking teams:

Public children clerks: “Nick Burdon, Sarah Robinson and Asma Akhtar, assistant practice manager, are always cheerful and eager to assist in any way they can. They are efficient and go above and beyond to try and accommodate all requests.”

Private client clerks: “David Walters and Scott Goodison… are excellent.”

Civil clerks: “The standout star for service to solicitors who we have most to do with is Catherine Merry – approachable and friendly, always willing to try hard to make someone available at short notice, sensible with fees and incredibly well organised.”

Criminal clerks, Dan Giles and James Hart: “They have a good clerking team who are upfront and go the extra mile to accommodate in every way.”

Head of Chambers Elizabeth Isaacs said “This is a particularly strong entry in this year’s Chambers & Partners guide and I am delighted that it demonstrates the excellence of both our barristers and our clerks. It is particularly pleasing that we have secured rankings in a number of different practice areas and across all seniorities, which demonstrates the real depth and breadth of talent at St Ives. Congratulations to all of those ranked.”
