To celebrate Black History Month, St Ives Chambers welcomes undergraduate and post graduate students (including those called to the bar but who have not yet obtained a pupillage) to attend an in person 1-2-1 CV workshop and careers event. The event will be fully catered with Caribbean food sourced from local businesses. Students from black ethnic backgrounds are strongly encouraged to sign up.
Our Head of Chambers, Elizabeth Isaacs KC, will open the event and welcome attendees before Tom Lawal’s informative career’s talk. Attendees will then have the opportunity to attend a 1-2-1 CV workshop. Senior legal professionals and members of Chambers will be in attendance to offer advice about careers in law generally as well as at the Bar. In order to participate in the CV workshop element of the event, attendees must bring with them a paper copy of their CV.
