Public Law Children

Sarah is a specialist family law practitioner with a diverse public and private law practice.

She regularly appears at all stages of both public and private law proceedings at all levels within the Family Court. Sarah’s tutelage in family law was under Jeremy Weston QC and as a result, Sarah has a passion for representing particularly vulnerable parties within proceedings.  Sarah is also known for her ability to relate to her clients whilst always getting swiftly to the crux of the issue in any case.

In public law cases, Sarah regularly represents local authorities, parents, grandparents and children in multi-day, contested hearings. She has considerable experience in all stages of public law proceedings and applications under the ACA 2002 including applications for leave to oppose adoption, post adoption contact and contact with children in care. Sarah’s experience includes, but is not limited to non-accidental injury fact finding hearings, sexual abuse, psychiatric illness, children with mental health concerns, foreign elements and serious domestic violence.
