Michelle represents local authorities, parents and children in the County Court, High Court and at appellate level.

Michelle has particular strength and expertise in cases involving complex medical issues and in those involving vulnerable adults with severe mental health illness or personality disorders.

Michelle has a wealth of experience in the most complex of cases involving;

• The death, or serious injury of children (with particular interest in head injuries)
• Sexual abuse of children (including acting for children both as victims and alleged perpetrators)
• Poisoning cases (including cases involving insulin poisoning)
• Fabricated/Induced Illness (FII)
• Inherent Jurisdiction
• Discharge of placement and adoption orders (including acting for the local authority and parents)
