Admissibility of evidence in civil proceedings: An overview and case law update by Harry Marriott

The Supreme Court, in the case of Shagang Shipping Company Ltd v HNA Group Company Ltd [2020] UKSC 34, has recently given guidance on the admissibility of evidence in civil proceedings. Although the factual matrix of this case was in the commercial context of international cargo vessels, the guidance is likely to beneficial to practitioners in all areas of civil litigation.
