Homicide convictions in case prosecuted by St Ives’ barristers

Dafydd Enoch QC, leading Justin Jarmola, prosecuted four men in respect of the killing of Jack Donoghue in November 2019.

After a three-week trial, Tyrall Blake was convicted of murder and Nile Bennett was convicted of manslaughter. After commencing a second trial, Regan Watters and Connor Moore both pleaded guilty to manslaughter.

The four men were sentenced yesterday. Mr. Blake shall have to serve a minimum of twenty-three years, with the other three men receiving sentences ranging from seven and a half years to eleven years.
