Will enjoys a busy housing practice. He regularly appears for both landlord and tenants in both the private and social sectors. Will is adept at appearing in all hearings from the first possession hearing to trials.

Will is regularly instructed at all stages of cases involving:

  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Drug cultivation and other offences within the property
  • Injunctions and committal
  • Disrepair
  • Mental Capacity Act and Mental Health Act considerations
  • Equality Act Act and public law defences.

Will has recently advised on matters regarding the Tenancy Deposit Scheme and the effect on section 21 proceedings. He has also appeared on behalf of a social landlord in appeal proceedings concerning the applicability of the notice requirements under section 21 to probationary tenancies.
