Housing

Lucinda is regularly instructed in a full range of housing matters and appears for both the landlord and tenant in possession proceedings, anti-social behaviour injunctions and breach proceedings, often at short notice. Lucinda is quickly developing her housing practice and is proficient at appearing in all hearings from the ex-parte injunction through to the trial. She has recently appeared for the Landlord in cases concerning S21 notices, rent arrears and disrepair.

Whilst under the supervision of Miss Michelle Caney, Lucinda experienced a range of diverse housing cases and spent time drafting statements of case and advices on TLATA proceedings.

Lucinda is eager to develop a busy housing practice and accepts instructions in all areas commensurate to her call.

Further Information

Prior to Pupillage, Lucinda worked in theatre and film which experience instilled in her the ability to captivate an audience, paint a picture and tell a story with credibility – all things which are essential for a trial advocate.

Lucinda is a member of the Pupillage Committee.
