Private Law Children

Lachlan has already gained experience acting for parents, children (through their 16.4 guardian) and members of extended family at all stages of private law disputes. He will do his best to navigate the sensitive waters of proceedings while striving to get the best result for his client. Lachlan also has experience advising his clients on discrete issues within proceedings in writing or in conference.

Lachlan has dealt with cases involving the following issues:

  • alleged parental alienation and implacable hostility
  • alleged serious physical and sexual violence
  • alleged drug and alcohol misuse
  • internal relocation
  • transfer of living arrangements
  • challenging s7 reports
  • change of schooling
  • special guardianship orders
