Family - Finance

Described as “an absolutely class act, well prepared with an appealing style and good cross examination” (Chambers and Partners 2016), Greg is a family specialist who practices in both finance and children work.

Greg has experience of dealing with:

  • Ancillary relief
  • TLATA claims
  • Applications under Schedule 1 Childrens Act 1989

He is willing to undertake and equally at ease addressing the challenges presented by low assets cases as those with substantial and frequently business and/or foreign assets.  Not only an experienced advocate in court but a skilful negotiator, he recognises that more favourable outcomes, often outside those available to the court may be achieved through compromise.

Greg prides himself on his sensitive and careful attitude towards clients whilst offering realistic advice and firm representation. Noted for “focusing on the issues without getting bogged down with the details” (Chambers and Partners 2016) through careful preparation and assessment of a case Greg presents achievable positions which frequently find favour with the court.

Greg joined Chambers in 1993.  He is the Deputy Head of Chambers.
