Sarah regularly appears in matters involving banking and financial services and the Consumer Credit Act.

Sarah is confident in dealing with applications for default and summary judgement, applications for strike out and charging orders.

She is available for instruction in all areas of advisory work, drafting and representation at all stages of proceedings.

Chancery, Commercial and Insolvency

Sarah has a particular interest in commercial litigation.   Sarah is frequently instructed in cases involving contractual disputes in the county court and is available for instruction in all areas of advisory work, drafting and representation at all stages of proceedings.

Sarah is a specialist family law practitioner with a diverse public and private law practice.

Sarah regularly appears at all stages of both public and private law proceedings at all levels within the Family Court. Sarah’s tutelage in family law was under Jeremy Weston QC and as a result, Sarah has particular interest and ability in representing all, but particularly vulnerable parties in public law proceedings.

In public law cases, Sarah regularly represents local authorities, parents, grandparents and children in multi-day, contested hearings. She has considerable experience in all stages of public law proceedings and applications under the ACA 2002 including applications for leave to oppose adoption, post adoption contact and contact with children in care. Sarah’s experience includes, but is not limited to non-accidental injury fact finding hearings, sexual abuse, psychiatric illness, foreign elements and serious domestic violence.

In private law matters, Sarah regularly deals with the full spectrum of applications and issues which arise at all stages of proceedings. She has considerable experience in cases involving internal and external relocation issues, domestic violence, changes of surname, parental alienation, committal proceedings and particularly vulnerable clients.

Sarah is able to provide written advice on all areas of family law and has a particular interest in matters relating to the duties of a local authority to pay monies to carers of children in various circumstances.

Sarah has an established housing law practice and is known for her thorough preparation and fast turnaround time with paperwork.  She receives regular instructions from local authority landlords, housing associations and those acting for tenants in a range of matters.   The range of work undertaken includes all injunctions under The Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014, including those against under 18s, committal proceedings, possession proceedings and issues relating to disrepair claims.

Sarah is actively involved in providing training in all areas of Housing and Property Law, most notably as a speaker at Chambers’ annual Housing Law Conference.

Sarah is also available for advisory work and drafting at all stages of proceedings.

Sarah is regularly instructed in a wide range of civil matters including RTA claims and fast track trials including those with a personal injury claim.

Sarah has a thriving personal injury advice practice and therefore regularly provides advice on issues of liability and quantum for both adults and children in all areas of personal injury litigation.  This includes advising on RTA claims, negligence claims, employer’s liability matters and breaches of statutory duty of public bodies.

Sarah is regarded as extremely reliable and efficient in her timescales for completing such paperwork to the highest standard.
