Practice Details :
Jonathan Gidney is a specialist employment practitioner with substantial experience in all aspects of employment law. He regularly appears in Employment Tribunals and in employment related actions in the High Court and County Court. His experience in Tribunal covers all types of unfair and constructive dismissal claims, race sex and disability discrimination and victimisation claims and breach of contract proceedings. He has particular expertise in complex multi-day discrimination proceedings. In the High/County Court, Jonathan Gidney is regularly involved in breach of contract actions, injunctive proceedings, actions for damages and actions arising out of negligence in the workplace i.e. negligent references, health and safety and personal injury claims.

Mediation: In February 2004, Jonathan Gidney was appointment as an accredited CEDR Mediator. CEDR, the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution, is the country’s leading provider of mediation accreditation and training. It is internationally recognised as a standard of excellence in the field of mediation. As an accredited Mediator, Mr Gidney can offer Mediation as an additional service to clients.
