The Family Law Specialist Group provides a depth of experience and expertise in all areas and levels of Family Law. Members of this group regularly represent local authorities, parents, children and their Guardians in public law matters. In private law cases members’ expertise includes representation in disputes involving married couples and cohabitees, their children, all aspects of financial ancillary relief and child abduction.

Whilst counsel are instructed for their advocacy experience in these specialist areas, the importance of advisory work is never overlooked. Members endeavour to return paperwork within a reasonable time and are available to do urgent work if necessary even at very short notice. Urgent instructions can be received by e-mail and a response can be given via the same medium.
