Scott Coughtrie has served for 33 years within Her Majesty's Armed Forces (Army), predominately as a Regular but in the last ten years as a Reserve Officer. Scott has been instructed to defend members of Her Majesty's Armed Forces against the Army Prosecuting Authority on numerous cases involving all ranks of Soldier's and Officers'. He has been engaged on recent notable cases involving allegations of brutality, abuse and unlawful killings by British Military Servicemen in Iraq. During recent operational tours of duty he was instructed and advised on matters pertaining to British Armed Forces Law and NATO Operational procedural issues concerning Soldier's and Officers' from Her Majesty's Armed Forces and NATO Allied forces.
