Practice Details:
Miss Caney advises and represents both Claimants and Defendants in all areas of personal injury litigation, including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability, industrial accidents, industrial disease, holiday claims and cases involving an element of fraud.
Miss Caney has particular expertise in personal injury cases involving housing disrepair or alleged breaches of a landlord’s statutory duty under section 4 of the Defective Premises Act 1972. She also has a keen interest in personal injury cases of an equine nature, having owned and ridden horses and ponies herself from a very young age.
As well as her court work, Miss Caney has a busy paperwork practice. She is able to work to tight deadlines and regularly takes on instructions to advise or settle pleadings on an urgent basis. Where appropriate, Miss Caney accepts instructions on a CFA basis.
