Practice Details :

Anya Newman has a general common law practice with an emphasis on civil work.

Ms Newman undertakes general personal injury work and has been instructed in both fast-track and multi-track matters. Ms Newman is available to undertake hearings at all stages of personal injury matters both in Court and via telephone conference.

Ms Newman is regularly instructed to advise on personal injury matters both in respect of quantum and prospects of claims and is able to undertake paperwork at all stages of proceedings.

Ms Newman is available to undertake legally aided work on behalf of personal injury claimants and has recently been advising on claims against public authorities.

In addition to appearing in the County Court, Ms Newman has experience of appearing before Tribunals in relation to benefits appeals. This often becomes necessary where for example a Claimant is still engaged in County Court proceedings but receives an unfavourable decision on his disability status. Ms Newman is available to advise and appear in these matters.
