Specialises in Commercial and Chancery law, Housing and Anti-Social Behaviour, Landlord and Tenant, Personal Injury (including clinical negligence), and Regulatory Law (Civil and Criminal).
Mr Watkin provides advisory work in all of these areas of work and appears in court at all levels including the Court of Appeal and High Court. He is able to work to tight deadlines and is experienced in drafting documents for and appearing in urgent applications including ex parte injunctions in his areas of specialism.
Mr Watkin regularly presents seminars and lectures on civil litigation and regulatory law to local authority and private solicitors, and other interested practitioners. Such talks can be arranged via the clerks and can be presented either within the dedicated facilities within chambers or at outside offices, and CPD approval can be obtained if required.
