Nina Bache specialises in all areas of child law as follows:
Public Law:
Nina is regularly instructed by parents, Guardians, local authorities, other family members and intervenors. She is known for her client-friendly approach and careful preparation. She is experienced in care cases involving non-accidental injuries, sexual abuse, severe emotional abuse and chronic neglect, clients with learning difficulties, matters involving the Official Solicitor and matters involving separate representation of children. She has been led in cases involving serious historical sexual abuse and has experience of cases involving expert evidence on the evaluation of children’s ABE interviews and cross-examination of children. She also deals with wardship cases.
Nina Bache also deals in adoption cases, including revocation of placement orders.
Nina is experienced in County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal matters.
Private Law:
Nina is regularly instructed by parents, grandparents and Guardians acting for children. She has a sensitive and understanding approach to clients. She deals with difficult and complex residence/contact applications involving parents and non-parents, serious cases of domestic violence including rape, cases involving complex psychological evidence, intractable contact disputes, and applications for removal from the jurisdiction for holidays. Nina also has experience of cases involving serious sexual abuse allegations in private law disputes including ones involving expert evidence on the evaluation of children’s ABE interviews.
Nina is experienced in County Court, High Court and Court of Appeal matters.
