A significant proportion of his practice involves public law cases of the utmost complexity and gravity. He has considerable experience in cases involving serious injury, brain trauma, and death. Many of his cases involve detailed consideration of medical, psychiatric or psychological evidence.

Regularly instructed by Local Authorities, parents and children’s Guardians. Many of the parents he represents have been diagnosed as posing a serious risk to children and or to have severe personality disorders.

He has an interest in foreign adoptions and the law relating thereto and cases involving the removal of children from the jurisdiction.
He has considerable experience in complex ancillary relief cases, particularly those relating to partnerships and farms.
