Practice Details :
Miss Caney has a general common law practice, with a particular emphasis on civil and family work.

Miss Caney is regularly instructed on behalf of both landlords and tenants in all aspects of property law including possession claims, anti-social behaviour litigation and disrepair actions. She also advises Local Authorities, Housing Associations and public and private sector tenants in respect of these areas.

In family matters, Miss Caney represents Local Authorities, parents and children’s Guardians in the Family Proceedings Court and County Court. Miss Caney undertakes both private and public Children Act work. She is also developing an ancillary relief practice.

Miss Caney further accepts instructions in personal injury claims and general civil matters. She has a keen interest in commercial and chancery disputes and acts in such matters in both a representative and an advisory capacity.
