Michael Lohmus is dual qualified and was a partner in Plunkett Lohmus & Co of Handsworth, Birmingham for over 20 years specialising in serious criminal cases and also complex care cases for which he acted for parents or as solicitor for the children. He is now regularly instructed by local authorities, parents and guardian ad items in both public and private law. He acts for both parents and children with a disability including those with acute learning or mental health difficulties. He has also acted for parents in public law when there have also been concurrent criminal proceedings
