Anya Newman has a general common law practice with an emphasis on civil work.
Ms Newman is regularly instructed for rent and mortgage possession matters and for anti-social behaviour litigation. Ms Newman has undertaken work in more complex claims against trespassers and is available to advise, draft and appear in Court on these matters.
Ms Newman has a particular interest in anti-social behaviour litigation both in the form of injunctions and possession matters and undertakes work at all stages of such proceedings.
In addition to her Court work Ms Newman regularly advises on potential housing matters for both landlords (public and private) and tenants. Ms Newman has recently been advising on the latest alterations to the problem of the tolerated trespasser. In addition to advising Ms Newman is available to draft pleadings for these matters.
