Practice Details:
Dympna Howells was a Solicitor and Partner in a large regional practise. She has practiced as a Family Lawyer for most of her career.

She has particular expertise in Public and complex Private Law cases representing Local Authorities, Parents and the Children in cases including serious allegations of physical and sexual abuse.

She has experience in Child Abduction, the Inherent Jurisdiction, Leaving Care Legislation and Adoption and Special Guardianship Proceedings.

She is a member of the Mental Capacity group and has experience of The Court of Protection and The Forced Marriage Act 2007.

She was a Children Panel Member for 20 years and a Family Panel Member from its inception by the Law Society.

She was also a Resolution Committee member and Family Courts Business Committee for many years.
